| Printhead Open Alert / Red Light Is Visible (Potentially Flashing) |
- Cover not closed properly.
- Badge stock is out of place.
- Object caught between the latches or the rim of the printer head.

Proper Badge Loading
- Open the Printer Head by pulling on both Yellow Latches.
- Gently bring the printer head down and apply light pressure until you hear the release latches click. The light will turn green.
- When closing the Printer Head:
- Place the Badge Stock correctly through the Yellow guides in a straight manner.
- Gently bring the Printer Head down and apply light pressure until you hear the latches click.
- Applying the pressure but still not hearing the click:
- Open backup and remove any object obstructing the latches.
- Look for any damaged or broken Yellow latches.

| Printing Issues: Double Badge Printing, Improper Badge Prints, Blank Printing, Not Printing/Calibrating |
- Badge Stock Improperly Placed.
- Configuration Needed.
- Calibration needs to be performed.
- Not receiving information from the Computer or Tablet.
- Sensor needs to be positioned correctly.
- Printer won’t calibrate: "Load Backing Printer Paused".
- Printer won’t calibrate: "Reload All Continue".
- Printer stops calibration after one or two badges.
- One badge prints and then there’s a printer jam and the red light flashes.

- Insert Badge Stock with Timing Mark face down and arrows pointing towards the front. Adjust Yellow guides to avoid movement but not too tight.

- Set the printer to the correct Badge Stock Specifications:
- Press Home.
- Select Settings with the D-Pad.
- Toggle twice to the right to Media Type.
- Select the Correct Media Setting: Auto Detect, Mark, Gap/Notch.
- To Calibrate Printer (resets previous settings):
- Turn Off Cutter: Home > Settings > Cutter > Off.
- Select Home Icon, navigate to Settings icon, 6 clicks right.
- Scroll to display "No Cutter".
- Select Tools icon, navigate 4 clicks right to "Media Ribbon Calibration".
- Start calibration by pressing Start. Follow prompts to feed badges and complete calibration.
- Turn Cutter back On: Home > Settings > Cutter > Cut.
- Verify connectivity:
- Ensure Ethernet cable is tightly inserted on both ends.
- Ensure computer/tablet is on the same network as the printer.
- Adjust the Mark Sensor:
- Open printer head.
- Pull back badge stock until yellow slider is visible.
- Move slider below black mark on the badge.

| Unit Not Powering On |
- No Power connection.
- Try a different power cable.

- Check for loose cable connections in the back of the printer and adapter. Make sure the cable is plugged into the wall. Watch Video - Series Desktop Printer Highlight
- If problems persist, change the power cable from another printer.

| Cutter Not Working |
- Cutter Jammed.
- Turn Cutter On.

- Cutter jammed:
- Open the Printer by sliding yellow tabs on either side.
- Feed badge paper and close the printer.
- Hold Pause (II) button briefly to feed paper through until even cut achieved.
- Turning Cutter On:
- Select HOME icon from menu.
- Navigate and select SETTINGS.
- Use directional pad 6 times to Cutter Mode, select option.
- Press HOME to return to main menu.

| Faded Text On The Badge Stock |
- Badge stock residue under printhead.
- Darkness is at a low level.
- Speed is too high.
|
- Clean printer head with alcohol swab before printing.
- To increase Darkness:
- Select Home > Settings.
- Navigate to Darkness option and increase using directional pad.
- To lower printing speed:
- Select Home > Settings.
- Navigate to Print Speed and decrease slightly. Test print and repeat if needed.
