Set Up Guide

1. Make sure both cables are fed through the rear notch of the post. Fasten the post to the base plate with provided screws(shorter) and screwdriver, aligning with rear openings.
2. Slide the base housing cover down and position the cables underneath the cable cut out through the base housing towards the back.
3. Fasten the housing cover to the base using the 2 remaining screws(longer) and then attach the base housing cover by sliding it into place.
4. To open the faceplate, squeeze & hold the 2 buttons at the back of the faceplate while sliding the bezel upwards (opposite to the RFID reader).
5. Connect the iPad to the charging cable and place it in the Lilitab case.
6. Connect the NFC reader to the USB charging cable, switch the toggle to Bluetooth and place it in the Lilitab case.
7. Secure the iPad into the case by sliding in the faceplate towards the NFC reader and clicking it into place.
8. Please follow the NFC reader connection steps from your registration software provider. Do not add Bluetooth device right away via iPad settings.
9. Place the case horizontally onto the Lilitab stand and lock it in place using the *provided key. * *PLEASE BE CAREFUL NOT TO MISPLACE THE KEY. WITHOUT THE KEY, YOU WON’T BE ABLE TO OPEN THE CASE*

Troubleshooting

What if…

… my NFC reader does not light up?

1. Inspect the cable at both the power cable and reader ends.
2. Rotate the iPad’s faceplate to see if it charges in various orientations.
3. Ensure that the reader is powered on.

… my iPad is not charging?

1. Inspect the cable at both the power cable and iPad ends.
2. Rotate the iPad’s faceplate to see if it charges in various orientations.

… the viewing position won’t remain fixed?

Use the supplied Allen wrench to adjust the viewing angle according to your preference.
